Film photography has a way of turning ordinary moments into something quietly magical. The soft grain, subtle color shifts, and unpredictable imperfections give each image a sense of nostalgia, like a memory you can hold onto. There’s a romance in not knowing exactly how a photo will turn out—waiting, trusting the process, and discovering beauty in the unexpected. Film doesn’t just capture what something looked like; it captures how it felt, preserving moments with a warmth and intimacy that feels deeply human.
1 ROLL OF FILM - $80

FAQ
Where are you based?
I am based in the Metro Detroit Michigan area, although I am often traveling up to Traverse City, where me and my husband love to spend as many weekends as possible in the summer.
Do you travel?
The majority of my photograph sessions are through out the state of michigan, but I am willing to travel wherever you are located at.
How do your travel fees work?
It depends on the exact location of the shoot. After communicating with the client on the exact location, the travel fee will include flights, stay, car, and compensation for the travel time. If the shoot is based in my state anything further then a hour will include a travel fee.
How do we get the best experience?
I recommend all my clients when planning a shoot to involve something you like doing, or a location that is special to them, or a dream location to go to, this will make your photo session feel unique to you and perfectly curated to capture your intimate moments.
What happens after the session?
After we depart, I will spend the next few weeks culling though all the photos and choosing the best cinematic ones, and spending time editing each of them, and I will always try and return them back to the client as fast as possible. Once I finish you will receive a email with a custom online digital gallery just for you.
What should we wear?
My style of shooting includes lots of movement, so wear something that you feel like yourself in, loose flowing clothes that allow movement. I'd avoid anything with logos or distracting patterns, think outfits that match the environment we are shooting at.
How do you describe your style?
My approach blends cinematic storytelling with documentary authenticity. Rather than directing every moment, I focus on capturing the day as it naturally unfolds—real emotions, quiet glances, and the fleeting moments in between. The result is imagery that feels like scenes from a film, honest and timeless.
What's your camera and lens?
I shoot with my Sony A7IV and the GM 24-70 lens, it's a combo that I love!! I recently added to my collection the Canon AE-1, I'm very excited to be adding film photos to my portfolio:)
